Job summary

Texas Health Alliance is seeking an RN II Charge PRN for Days in Med Surg on the 3rd Floor South. This role supports nursing leadership, collaborates with physicians, and helps maintain a strong, patient‑centered team environment.

Education: Nursing Diploma or ADN required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: 1 year in acute care required, 2 years preferred. Licenses: RN license, BCLS, CPI training, ACLS within required timeframes. This role follows the Quality Caring Model.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or ADN is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• The charge nurse will model the Quality Caring Model and lead nursing practice on the unit.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Ensure safety, patient privacy, and dignified care while coordinating unit operations.
