Mercy in Rogers, AR seeks a Charge Nurse to oversee nursing services under supervision of the Director and Clinical Manager. You will ensure safe, efficient patient care using the nursing process and hospital policies.
Responsibilities include directing nursing activities, delegating tasks, supervising patient records, assisting with bed assignments, and maintaining inventory of meds and supplies. Requires RN license and state requirements; BLS and other certifications may be required.

In addition, the Charge Nurse directs nursing service activities in the department, delegates responsibilities to auxiliary and staff nurses; supervises preparation and maintenance of patient clinical records, and assists with reports on staff performance and services rendered as appropriate or requested. Assists with bed assignments, and various problems as they arise. Maintains preset inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines, equipment, and tracks narcotics and medications.

Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
