Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift to deliver high-quality patient care across multiple units including PACU and inpatient care. You will develop and implement individualized plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with physicians and the broader health team to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Strong leadership and communication are essential. Requires RN licensure, Associate Degree in Nursing, Basic Life Support, and 1+ acute care

Qualifications

Ability to use abstract reasoning to assess patient needs and adjust care plans.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Windows-based programs.
Supervision experience and staff guidance.
Strong communication with patients, families, and team members.
Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

Responsibilities

Coordinate patient care across PACU, inpatient units, Radiology, and anesthesia.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments and orders.
Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust plans as needed.
Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other providers for comprehensive care.
Provide guidance to staff and educate patients and families about care plans.
Respond to emergencies and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
