Abrazo Arrowhead Campus in Glendale, AZ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery. Join a high-volume team delivering compassionate care during the birth process, with opportunities for leadership roles on nights or days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience.
• Minimum 1 year in NICU, postpartum/couplet care, antepartum, ICU, OR, or ED.
• Active RN license in Arizona.
• BLS & ACLS as required by department.
• NRP required by end of orientation.
• Fetal Monitoring required within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care from pre-pregnancy through delivery and recovery.
• Collaborate with NICU, Couplet Care, OR, and ED teams.
• Interpret fetal monitoring and anticipate labor progression.
• Act as clinical leader, supervising and delegating care as needed.
• Ensure safety, comfort, and clear communication during birth.
• Participate in hourly rounding and uphold evidence-based nursing standards.
• With experience, may serve as charge nurse or OB triage.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on bedside care through pre-pregnancy complications, laboring moms, delivery of baby, and recovery period.
• Collaborate across NICU, Couplet Care, OR, and ED teams.
• Interpret fetal monitoring and anticipate labor progression
• Act as a clinical leader, supervising and delegating patient care as needed
• Ensure safety, comfort, and communication throughout the birth experience
• Participate in hourly rounding and uphold evidence-based nursing standards
• With appropriate experience, can be assigned charge nurse or OB triage duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in any of the following: NICU, postpartum/couplet care, antepartum, ICU, OR, or ED
  • Education: Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Certifications:
    • Active RN license in the State of Arizona
    • BLS & ACLS (as required by department/facility)
    • NRP (required by end of orientation)
    • Fetal Monitoring (required within 6 months of hire)
• Preferred Requirements
  • Education: BSN
