THRYVE Healthcare in Illinois is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver total care for residents on the assigned unit during the shift, with oversight and coordination of staff.

The RN will collaborate with an allied health team to develop individualized care plans, administer medications, educate residents and families, and ensure adherence to facility policies. The role also emphasizes ongoing learning and procedural updates.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing education program.
• Ability to work with residents of varying ages and medical needs.
• Able to pass background checks and meet facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents on assigned unit during scheduled shift as an RN.
• Collaborate with allied health team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per policy and evaluate effectiveness.
• Maintain an environment supporting residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Educate residents and families about care plans, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor team performance and support staff development, evaluations, and corrective actions.
• Assign and oversee nursing duties to ensure tasks are completed appropriately.
• Stay current on facility procedures and participate in in-service education.
• Identify and respond to significant changes in residents' conditions.
• Document care provided and changes in condition per facility guidelines.
• Act as charge nurse and provide clinical support to staff.
• Follow all facility and departmental safety protocols.
