Job summary

Pediatric Health Choice in Flowood, MS, is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse for a PPEC program. Full-time, 4 days/week, 7:30am–5:30pm, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus. You will assess, plan, and implement care for medically complex children, coordinating with families and a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, educating families, maintaining records, and ensuring infection control. RN licensure and pediatric experience are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Maintenance of CE credits as mandated in state licensure.
• Minimum 2 years in general pediatrics; 6 months with medically/tech-dependent children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and address physical, psycho-social, and developmental needs of children and families.
• Develop and implement care plans based on nursing standards and treatment protocols.
• Evaluate and adjust care plans based on patient outcomes.
• Educate families on disease management and care techniques.
• Communicate with physicians regarding patient status and changes.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of nursing interventions.
• Advocate for patients, ensure confidentiality, and coordinate care among families and providers.
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings.
