Job summary

Pediatric Health Choice in Flowood, MS is seeking a licensed RN to provide specialized day-health care for medically complex and technology‑dependent children. This full‑time role offers 30+ hours per week with no weekends and Monday–Friday scheduling.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to perform assessments, administer medications and therapies, manage nutrition (including G‑tube), ventilator monitoring, and maintain accurate EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Pediatric experience (2+ years preferred), especially with medically fragile or technology‑dependent children.
• A heart for children, a team spirit, and a passion for helping families thrive.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care for medically complex and technology‑dependent children in a structured day-health environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, holistic care.
• Conduct daily assessments and ongoing monitoring of vital signs, developmental progress, and overall health status.
• Administer medications, nutritional feedings (including G‑tube), respiratory treatments (trach care, suctioning), and other physician‑ordered therapies.
• Perform clinical procedures such as catheter care, seizure management, wound care, and ventilator monitoring.
• Maintain accurate EMR/Nursing documentation for all interventions and outcomes.
• Participate in care plan development and family care conferences; contribute to progress reports.
• Support developmental/play‑based therapies and reinforce therapy goals throughout the day.
• Educate and support families and caregivers on home care routines and equipment usage.
• Ensure infection control standards and safety protocols are followed.
