Job summary

Abrazo West Campus is seeking a Charge RN for the Day shift. The role coordinates unit functions, schedules unit RNs, and acts as liaison with pre-hospital providers, staff, and administration. The Charge RN develops and implements plans to meet regulatory requirements and mentors team members.

Minimum education is a nursing degree; BSN preferred. Requires ARIZONA RN licensure, plus ACLS/PALS where applicable, with additional certifications as required by departments.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate functions and activities for a single department unit.
• Coordinate scheduling for unit RNs and act as liaison to internal/external customers.
• Develop and implement plans to meet regulatory requirements.
• Train and mentor staff.
