Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking a Charge Nurse for the Emergency Department Observation Unit. This full-time night role (7pm–7am, 36 hours weekly) requires leadership to coordinate care, support staff, and ensure smooth patient flow for a diverse patient mix observed under 24 hours.

The Observation Unit is a 29-bed unit affiliated with the Emergency Department and observes patients who are expected to be in the hospital less than 24 hours. Nurses in this unit care for a variety of patients including chest pain, cardiac arrhythmias, heart catheterizations, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, UTIs, and DVTs. The unit is staffed with a provider between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM each day of the week to provide support and high-level care. New Graduate RNs welcome.
