Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Buda is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Charge for its 15-bed main nursing unit. The role supports Medical Surgical, Orthopedics, Intermediate Care and Critical Care, with shift Full-time, 3x12’s and an Evening Schedule.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team in a blended acuity unit to provide high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Completed an established nursing program.
• At least 2 years of nursing experience.
• RN license valid in Texas.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care and ensure nursing regulations are followed.
• Evaluate patients, identify diagnoses and create care plans.
• Assess patient responses and adjust care as needed.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and team.
