Northern Montana Hospital in Havre, MT is seeking an Acute Care Medical/Surgical/Pediatric Unit Charge Registered Nurse. You will assess, coordinate, implement, and evaluate safe, patient-centered care for surgical and medical pediatric patients. The role includes mentoring staff and guiding care within hospital policies.
Must be a Montana-licensed RN with BLS; ACLS/PALS are optional. Salary is commensurate with up to 15 years' experience; benefits reflect a dedicated, community-focused team.

An Acute Care Medical/Surgical/Pediatric Unit (Med/Surg/Peds) Charge Registered Nurse is a self-motivated professional who acts as a support and resource person in the care of patients before or after surgery, during recovery, during acute illness, and during swing bed hospital stays. They are responsible for the assessment, coordination, implementation, delegation, and evaluation of the delivery of safe and effective patient-centered care. The charge nurse will facilitate and mentor others to grow professionally and advance their knowledge and skills. The charge nurse functions in structured care settings described as geographic and/or situational environments where the policies and procedures for provision of health care are established. The charge nurse has acquired or will acquire knowledge and develop proficiency in caring for individuals on the Medical/Surgical/Pediatric unit and relative to the ages of patients served.
Salary is commensurate with up to 15 years of experience.
