Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) for the LTAC Department at the Texas Health Specialty in Fort Worth. The role requires guiding a 10-bed unit, coordinating care for medically complex patients and collaborating with an interdisciplinary health care team.

The position offers full-time hours from 7P to 7A with weekend and holiday requirements. Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience; BSN preferred; TX RN on hire; BCLS required; ACLS and CPI training preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or Diploma of Nursing.
• BSN preferred
• 1 year experience as a registered nurse in acute care setting required
• 2+ years experience as registered nurse in acute care setting preferred
• TX Registered Nurse Upon Hire required
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire prior to providing independent patient care required and maintained quarterly.
• ACLS – within 90 days of hire preferred.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 60 Days preferred.
• LTAC, Critical care or Progressive Care experience preferred
