Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing (required).

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for the nursing team on assigned shift and collaborates with unit leadership.
• Coordinates care and staffing, assigns lunches/breaks, and conducts change-of-shift reports.
• Screens and assigns patients based on acuity and available staff; ensures accurate documentation and handoffs.
• Monitors supplies and equipment, ensures cost effectiveness, and maintains quality of care.
• Coaches and evaluates staff performance with the nurse manager; supports payroll duties as needed.
• Acts as liaison between physicians, administrators, and staff; communicates protocol changes.
