Job summary

UF Health Jacksonville is seeking a Registered Nurse to direct, coordinate, and supervise nursing activities under the Supervisor. The RN will provide patient care across age groups using the Nursing Process, manage schedules, and orient new staff.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing, Florida RN license, BLS, and 1–2 years of clinical experience. BSN preferred within 3 years. ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit assignment.

Qualifications

• Must have Florida RN license and BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS are required at hire or within 6 months for specified units.
• 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• BSN preferred within 3 years of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates nursing activities of assigned staff.
• Assists Supervisor in evaluation of staff and in projects.
• Provides patient care using the Nursing Process for all age groups.
• Maintains nursing schedules and orients new employees.
