Job summary

New hires must have an Associate's Degree with a BSN within three years; Florida licensure and multiple certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, STABLE) are required or pursued within stated timeframes.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Florida.
• BLS from the American Heart Association is required.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• PALS within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• STABLE within 6 months and every two years.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates, and controls nursing activities of assigned staff.
• Provides care for a group of patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assignments are made appropriate to patient age and development.
• Maintains nursing schedules and orientation of new employees.
