Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a qualified nurse to coordinate delivery of high-quality patient care across birth to end-of-life stages. This role includes providing necessary clinical care when census requires and communicating with leadership about patient care and staff concerns.

The ideal candidate has a Georgia RN license (or NLC/eNLC Multistate), BLS certification, and at least one year of hospital nursing experience; two+ years and a BSN are preferred, with possible specialty

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• One (1) year of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Current Georgia RN or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.
• Two (2) or more years of nursing experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate of a nursing program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: One (1) year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Two (2) or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred. Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum). Demonstrated clinical competency.
