Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse to coordinate the delivery of high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle. The nurse will respond to census demands, provide clinical care as needed, and communicate patient care and staff issues to leadership.

Qualified applicants will hold a Georgia RN license with BLS certification; hospital experience is required, with two or more years preferred and a bachelor’s degree or specialty certification considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (minimum education).
• One (1) year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
• Current Georgia RN or NLC/eNLC Multistate License with BLS certification.
• Two (2) or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred; Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced specialty certification favored.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Two (2) or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred. Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum). Demonstrated clinical competency.
