Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate the delivery of quality patient care across the life span on a busy unit. You will provide clinical care as needed when census demands and serve as a resource for staff during your shift.

The role requires GA RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and related certifications within defined timeframes; 1 year hospital nursing experience is required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN license in Georgia (or multi-state license)
• 1 year of hospital nursing experience required; 2+ years preferred
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, PEARS certifications required or within specified timeframes

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle and handles operational issues during shift
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s); serves as a resource for guidance and assistance to staff
