The Charge Nurse will guide nursing performance, coach staff in real-time, and ensure adherence to standards while providing direct patient care on the unit.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN with 1 year RN experience
• Minnesota RN license
• CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers
• Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural competency

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on CVICU with a focus on cardiovascular critical care
• Allocate resources and manage patient assignments to balance acuity and census
• Lead, coach and mentor nursing staff while adhering to policies and clinical standards
• Engage with patients, families and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care
