Job summary

Haverhill Pavilion Behavioral Health in Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team as a Charge RN. You will oversee daily unit operations, delegate responsibilities, and ensure that treatment plans are carried out in line with physician orders and nursing standards.

This role emphasizes therapeutic communication, mentorship to staff, and delivering high‑quality care to patients with behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current MA RN license is required.
• Ideal candidates are passionate about behavioral health and the mission.
• At least 1 year of RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical and behavioral health needs; develop and implement nursing care plans; maintain medical records; educate patients and families.
• Document patient status and notify physicians of significant changes in status.
• Administer medications per orders and document controlled substances.
• Complete admission and discharge processes.
• Maintain therapeutic rapport and professional boundaries with patients.
• Coordinate unit activities and supervise as needed.
• Communicate professionally with patients and staff.
