MercyOne Genesis Hospice Care is seeking a Part-time Charge RN to plan, coordinate and evaluate hospice services delivered in home, nursing home or assisted living settings. You will provide safe, culturally competent, family-centered care for terminally ill patients and offer clinical direction to the support staff.
Required: a 4-year nursing degree, Iowa or Illinois RN license (second state within 6 months), BLS, and 3+ years of experience. Hospice/Palliative care certification is preferred.

As a Charge RN at MercyOne, you will Plan coordinates and evaluates the delivery of support services for hospice patients in the home/nursing home/assisted living facility. Assures the provision of safe, effective, culturally competent, family based, holistic care for the terminally ill patients. Provides clinical direction and feedback regarding performance of support staff. Assists supervisor and manager in a variety of tasks, including the following: Budget development, productivity management, new staff orientation, ensuring compliance of staff with identified clinical skill development/competencies/practice guidelines, performance improvement activities, data collection/analysis and operationalizing agency policies and procedures, preparation for compliance with regulatory agencies, identifying program development needs and assisting in implementation.
