Wellpath in Illinois is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse to oversee the health care delivery in their assigned nursing unit, ensuring high quality patient care and adherence to policy. You will supervise staff, coordinate with other departments, and guide nursing practice.

The role requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, current RN licensure in Illinois, and CPR certification. Experience preferred (minimum one year clinical).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in state of employment.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prefer a minimum of one year of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the total health care delivery system in the assigned unit, ensuring policy compliance and coordinated patient care.
• Monitor nursing service, maintain accurate records, and identify potential problems with corrective actions.
• Assist with staff orientation, training, and evaluations; coordinate staffing to meet contractual requirements.
• Ensure cleanliness, maintenance and proper supply levels within the unit.
