Armor Health is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Ohio. The role focuses on coordinating daily patient care, leading clinical staff, and maintaining high-quality nursing standards in a secure environment.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, ensure accurate documentation, and uphold infection control and safety protocols while supporting the mission of improving health care outcomes in correctional settings.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.
• CPR certification is required.
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, monitor, and coordinate daily patient care activities to ensure physician orders are implemented and documentation is accurate.
• Schedule staff coverage to ensure continuous patient care and effective service delivery.
• Lead, guide, and train team members on related processes and expectations.
• Oversee direct nursing care and provide patient consultation.
• Coordinate services with other patient care units and maintain communication with allied services.
• Oversee quality assurance, infection control, and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor, and coordinate the daily patient care activities of the unit to ensure all physician orders are implemented fully and all patient encounters are documented using the POMR format.
• Schedule staff and patients to ensure complete coverage of patient care at all times and to provide effective patient services
• You will lead, guide, and train employees performing related processes and expectations.
• Oversee and provide direct nursing care and consultation to patients
• Coordinate services with other patient care units as required; maintains communication with allied services.
• Oversee quality assurance and infection control activities and compliance to operational standards

Qualifications

• Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum of 2yrs experience
• Current CPR certificate
• Proficient with electronic medical records
• Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include a background check and drug screen
