Job summary

SLP Operations, LLC is seeking a Charge Nurse to deliver nursing care to residents under physician orders and to supervise CNAs in daily tasks. The role requires proper state licensure (LVN or RN) and strong collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

The Charge Nurse will manage admissions, charting, medication administration, and ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. Long or irregular hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be LVN or RN in good standing and licensed by the state.
• Must supervise CNAs and collaborate to achieve resident care objectives.
• Ability to interact positively with residents, families, and regulatory agencies.
• Willingness to work long or irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain medical records and nursing notes.
• Monitor residents and provide nursing care per physician orders and care plans.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders accurately.
• Supervise CNAs and provide coaching or corrective feedback as needed.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered and compliant with policies.
• Participate in development and revision of individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and departmental policies.
