Bethany Lutheran Health Services is seeking a dependable Charge Nurse to oversee nursing care and support the health, safety, and well-being of residents in a skilled nursing facility. The RN or LPN will supervise CNAs, coordinate resident care, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, active, unrestricted nursing license in the state where the facility is located.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff and work collaboratively with physicians, residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Dependability, professionalism, and a commitment to resident safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise quality nursing care in accordance with standards and orders.
• Conduct resident rounds and assessments, identify changes in condition, and initiate interventions.
• Administer and document medications, tube feedings, and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor resident progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Report significant changes to physicians and nursing leadership.
• Develop and update individualized care plans and participate in care conferences.
