Stormont Vail Health seeks a Charge Nurse for the Spine Center to oversee night shift operations in a busy Medical/Surgical unit. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, promote safety and efficiency, and coordinate patient throughput to maintain high-quality care.

The role requires a BSN or higher, Kansas RN licensure, and 2 years of acute care experience, with preferred supervision experience. Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • BSN or higher preferred; current RN license in Kansas (KSBN) required.
  • Minimum 2 years of related clinical experience in an acute care setting.
  • Supervisor or charge-level experience preferred; leadership capabilities demonstrated.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily operations of the Medical/Surgical department.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Mentor staff, conduct performance evaluations, and provide ongoing coaching.
  • Manage throughput and capacity to optimize patient flow and care.
