Job summary

BL3ND STAFFING is seeking a Charge Nurse in Trenton, NJ to lead a nursing unit on assigned shifts, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient workflow. You will coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges while supervising staff and prioritizing patient safety.

Applicants should hold an active RN license with 2–3 years of clinical experience. BLS is required; ACLS and other certifications may be requested. Strong communication and EHR skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• BSN preferred though ADN with sufficient experience may be considered.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and other specialty certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the nursing unit, including patient assignments, staff scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges with other departments.
• Supervise and support nursing staff with guidance and mentorship.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and adjust as needed for patient safety.
• Conduct shift hand-off reports and maintain cross-shift communication.
• Respond to emergencies per protocols and serve as a clinical resource.
• Maintain documentation per facility standards and ensure HIPAA compliance.
