Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an RN - Charge Nurse to facilitate and coordinate unit activities, ensuring quality patient care during the assigned shift. The ideal candidate has a nursing degree, active RN license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of staff nurse experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred, minimum 1 year staff nurse experience.
• Active RN licensure required, BLS required.
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc.) may be required depending upon area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate unit activities for quality patient care during the shift.
• Mentor staff and model nursing processes, quality improvement standards, and organizational goals.
• May have additional duties within scope of the role as assigned by hospital leadership.
