Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Night Shift SDU Charge Registered Nurse. You will supervise a patient group, deliver direct patient care via the nursing process, and coordinate with the health care team. The role includes performing staff-nurse duties as needed.

Requires RN licensure in Oklahoma, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS within specified timelines, and 2–5 years of relevant clinical experience. This is a full-time, on-site position in a Step Down Unit.

Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Oklahoma RN licensure required.
• Two to five years of clinical experience preferred.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• ACLS must be maintained; new hires have 90 days to obtain ACLS.
• NIHSS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Charge Nurse responsible for a group of patients for a designated time frame.
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and supervise other health care team members.
• Perform the duties of a Staff Nurse in addition to charge responsibilities.

Job Requirements:

• A graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Licensure Must possess a current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse.
• Two to five years of clinical experience (preferably in the area of application).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Must maintain ACLS. Experienced new hires have 90 days to obtain ACLS.
• NIHSS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
