Travis County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a Registered Nurse with supervisory experience to manage on-site patient care and lead nursing staff in a dynamic medical unit in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate holds Texas RN licensure, CPR certification, and at least two years of RN experience with leadership exposure.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Two years of RN experience, including one year in lead/supervisory role.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas.
• Current CPR certification; resume attached with application.

Responsibilities

• Assigns nursing schedules and oversees staff performance.
• Supervises clinic operations and annual evaluations of nursing personnel.
• Responds to emergent patient needs and directs care appropriately.
• Provides direct care including wound care, meds, vitals, labs.
• Documents patient conditions and coordinates with medical staff.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA and safety procedures.
