Job summary

Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Shift Manager for the Nights shift to coordinate staff and ensure patient care aligns with the nursing process and age-specific needs.

The position reports to the Nursing Department Director and involves collaborating with the staffing coordinator, Nurse Director, and Administrative Nursing Supervisor to ensure patient needs are met, while supporting the Nursing Department Director in administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Two to five years acute care experience or equivalent.
• RN skills as described for designated unit.
• Managerial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff during the designated shift using the nursing process and leadership skills.
• Assess staff needs on the unit and collaborate with the staffing coordinator, Nurse Director, and Administrative Nursing Supervisor to meet patient needs.
