Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical

$20,000 sign‑on bonus available for qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts one week and 3x12 hour shifts the next week, Day (7a - 7p), rotating weekends.

How you’ll contribute

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition.
• Establish a plan of care appropriate to identified problems and involve the patient in the plan according to their capabilities and desires.
• Supervise and mentor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
• Assist in determining staffing levels and assignments based on staff availability, staff abilities, census, patient acuity, and work/patient flow.
• Provide direct patient care as needed.
• Float between staff to assist with problem‑solving.
• Takes patient assignments to meet staffing needs.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify any issues that affect desired outcomes.
• Respond to complaints about patient care and related services, and manage through established channels.
• Perform role‑specific duties as assigned, including entering orders, performing admissions or discharges, and coordinating transfers.
• Ensure staff has necessary equipment and supplies to provide safe, quality patient care.
