Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is hiring a Charge Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate and lead nursing care. You will collaborate with medical and support staff, ensuring standards of nursing practice and serving as a resource for the team.

Required RN license in the applying state, current BLS, and ACLS certification (ACLS needed from day 1 for Charge Nurses, High Observation, and ICU).

Qualifications

• RN License in the state you are applying.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment.
• ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments preferred.
• Two years of direct patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of nursing care under Nursing Leadership.
• Provide leadership by collaborating with medical, ancillary, and support staff to maintain nursing standards.
• Serve as a clinical and leadership resource and role model for the staff.
