Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate nursing care and provide clinical leadership. The role requires RN license and current BLS, with ACLS preferred and required after 90 days.

Prior med-surgical experience is favored; ICU/EMER/critical care exposure is a plus, supporting growth within PAM Health. ACLS is required from day 1 for Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.

Qualifications

• RN License in the state you are applying.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment.
• ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical experience preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments is preferred.
• Two years of direct patient care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of nursing care as the Charge Registered Nurse.
• Provide leadership by collaborating with medical, ancillary, and support staff.
• Serve as a clinical and leadership resource and role model for staff.
