Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS certification required for all areas.
• ACLS required at hire or within 6 months for designated units; PALS, NRP and STABLE may be required within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates, and controls the nursing activities of assigned staff under supervision.
• Assists in evaluating staff and completing assigned projects.
• Provides patient care to a group of patients using the Nursing Process; assigns tasks by patient age/development.
• Maintains nursing schedules and oversees orientation of new employees.
