Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management in Texas seeks a qualified nurse supervisor to ensure care delivery aligns with our mission and regulatory standards. You will oversee nursing care during your shift, mentor staff, and collaborate with physicians.

The role requires RN or LVN licensure in the state, BLS/CPR, and at least two years in a skilled nursing facility; the ideal candidate demonstrates leadership and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of LVN or RN program and licensed in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensures high-quality clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction during supervision.
• Serves as a resource to staff regarding the quality of services.
• Provide direct resident care when required; administer meds and treatments per policy; follow physician orders when allowed by law.
• Manages nursing personnel on shift to minimize overtime and agency usage.
• Assesses nursing staff performance against care standards and goals.
• Conducts regular shift-based staff meetings and updates the DON.
