The RN will serve as a charge nurse and preceptor, mentoring the nursing team and guiding clinical practice. Qualified candidates hold RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS if required by the department, with BSN or related degree within 7 months of hire and 2 years RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Nurse III is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills.
• Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team.
• Responsible for developing self and team members and sharing organizational information.
• Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse. Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care, assistance and supervision to a child.
