Job summary

A healthcare provider in Albuquerque is seeking a Full Time Charge Nurse, RN for Days with ICU/Step-down experience. Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure for the State of New Mexico.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Acute care experience is preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are necessary.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal nursing laws.

Responsibilities

• Supervises patient care activities by RNs, LPNs/LVNs, and CNAs.
• Communicates changes in patient conditions to physicians and staff.
• Responds quickly to changes in patient condition.
• Keeps leadership apprised of risks to the facility.
• Provides direct patient care based on staffing and acuity.
