Job summary

Health Here is seeking an ICU Charge Nurse (RN) to coordinate and deliver critical care for severely ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setting. The role requires leading daily operations, supervising staff, and guiding Rapid Response activities to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualified candidates will hold a California RN license with CPR/ACLS/PALS certifications and have 5+ years in critical care, with proven leadership and mentoring ability to develop clinical staff and advance quality

Qualifications

• RN license in California required; CPR/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.
• 5+ years of critical care experience is preferred; leadership experience is a plus.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop critical thinking in others, with independent practice.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver critical care for ICU patients, including ventilator management and vasoactive meds.
• Supervise unit activities, mentor staff, and lead daily operations and Rapid Response Team.
• Assist with staffing, hiring, training, and performance evaluations; participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Position Overview

This role is for an ICU - Intensive Care Unit Charge Nurse (RN) responsible for coordinating and delivering critical care to severely ill patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently care for patients on ventilators, titrate vasoactive medications, supervise unit activities, mentor staff, and lead daily operations and Rapid Response Team.
• Assist with staffing, hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes.
• Ensure availability of equipment and supplies, and maintain staffing levels to meet patient needs and budget goals.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid California RN License, CPR, ACLS, PALS certifications, and at least 5 years of critical care experience preferred.
• Leadership and management skills are advantageous.
• Ability to practice independently, promote autonomy, and develop critical thinking skills in others.

Additional Details

• Full‑time
• Night shifts (1900-0730), with some weekends required.
• Up to $25,000 sign‑on bonus available for qualified candidates.
