ContinueCARE Hospital at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, TX is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a direct-hire, full-time LTAC role. You will provide direct nursing care to medically complex patients and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate individualized care plans.

The position offers a competitive salary with shift differentials, comprehensive benefits, and PTO. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of acute care/ICU/LTAC experience, BLS, and ACLS within 90 days

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork.
• Compassion and patient-centered focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill or medically complex patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, administer medications and treatments, and document findings.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery.
• Maintain compliance with policies and regulatory guidelines.
