Job summary

PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week internal assignment in Massachusetts. The RN will deliver, direct, and supervise patient care using the nursing process, focusing on planning, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching. ACLS may be required for Charge Nurse duties, with BLS essential.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise care to patients admitted to the unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning and access community resources.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned.
