Abrazo Central Hospital in Phoenix seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate a clinic unit and oversee scheduling for the unit's RNs. The role liaises with internal staff and external providers to meet regulatory requirements and improve patient care.
The candidate will train and mentor staff, manage staffing decisions in collaboration with nursing management, and contribute to continuous quality improvement while maintaining compassionate patient interactions.
Up to $15,000 Bonus Based on Eligibility
Coordinates functions and activities related to a single departmental function. Position is responsible for a clinic unit. Position coordinates the scheduling efforts of the unit RN's. Acts as liaison person to internal and external customers (i.e., pre-hospital providers, medical and nursing staff, hospital administration). Responsible for developing and implementing plans/processes for meeting regulatory requirements. Trains and mentors staff.
Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
Two years relevant clinical nursing experience.
License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona. CPR. ACLS as applicable by Facility/by Department.
ER, ICU, Endoscopy, Tele, Cardiac Cath Lab, L&D: ACLS required upon orientation completion.
ER: PALS or ENPC required or must obtain within ninety days.
BSN
Management experience with two years supervisory. Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
License/Certification:
PACU: ACLS required or must obtain within six months of hire, PALS preferred.
