Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Harrisburg, PA is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse to lead nursing care on a 3p-11p or 11p-7a shift. You will supervise staff, administer medications, and coordinate care plans within a dynamic, caring facility.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license to practice in this state.
• Must demonstrate knowledge to provide age-appropriate nursing care.
• Must be a supportive team member and promote teamwork.
• Must relate information about residents’ condition to staff and families.
• Must understand nursing practices, laws and guidelines for facilities.
• Must have leadership/supervisory ability.
• Must complete post-offer background check and drug screen.
• Must have basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate performance and complete evaluations for personnel.
• Perform nursing assessments and develop care plans with the team.
• Plan and interpret programs and procedures for quality care.
• Set measurable patient goals and monitor outcomes to reduce rehospitalizations.
• Administer medications and supervise delegated tasks.
• Communicate patient information across shifts.
• Relate to ill or elderly residents and assist in emergencies.
