Job summary

Edgewood Convalescent Home in Edgewood, IA is seeking a weekend Charge Nurse – RN to provide skilled nursing care to our elderly residents within your scope of practice. This role includes medication administration and charting.

Schedule is 6 PM–6 AM Friday through Sunday (4 weekends on, 1 off). We offer a competitive hourly wage ($38.50–$57.00), sign-on bonus up to $5,000, and generous benefits including health insurance, 401K, life insurance, paid time off, and holiday pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to elderly residents within your scope of practice.
• Administer medications.
• Chart appropriately.
• Provide assistance to residents and their families.
• Perform nursing duties as required.

Charge Nurse -RN (weekend package)

Salary Range: $38.50 - $57.00

Sign-On Bonus: up to $5,000!

Schedule Available: 6p-6a (Fri, Sat, Sun). Works 4 weekends, off on the 5th weekend.

We are a 56-bed facility between skilled care and long-term care located in the charming small town of Edgewood, Iowa. Our town is mostly known for the Rodeo Days! We are small but we are mighty and work together to achieve great things. Our census runs between 75 – 80%. We are locally owned by a group of people interested in provide the best care to our elderly population. Our facility has been in business for 64 years!!

Week and pretty much any holiday we can and when we are without a holiday, we come up with different ways to have a relaxed and healthy environment at work, such as celebrating anniversaries, having potlucks and other fun activities!

We are administered by Healthcare of Iowa who has over 40 years of experience administering Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living and we have a full team ready to support us when we need.
