Job summary

Western Hills Retirement Village, a Caring Place Healthcare Group Facility, is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse (LPN or RN) to join our resident-centered care team in Cincinnati, OH. The role offers hourly pay ranging from $28.00 to $43.00 and full-time benefits including health, life, and disability insurance, PTO, 401(k) with company match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in Ohio.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year of healthcare or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor residents’ conditions.
• Communicate with physicians, healthcare team, residents, and families to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise nurse aides and medication aides, ensuring procedures and resident rights are upheld.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living when needed.
• Promote a safe, clean, calm, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in in-service programs and team meetings.

Your Role as a Charge Nurse:

What We're Looking For:

• Current LPN or RN license in Ohio.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year of experience in healthcare, long-term care, or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Compassion, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
• Physical ability to perform nursing duties, including assisting and transferring residents as needed.
