Job summary

Caring Place Healthcare Group is seeking an LPN Charge Nurse at Western Hills Retirement Village in Cincinnati, Ohio. Provide quality nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents, and communicate with physicians and families to ensure continuity of care.

You will supervise nurse aides, promote a safe environment, comply with HIPAA and infection control, participate in in-service trainings, and contribute to a resident-centered team that values dignity and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Ohio.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year of experience in healthcare, long-term care, or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Compassion, professionalism, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor residents’ conditions.
• Communicate with physicians, healthcare team members, residents, and families to ensure continuity of care. Accurately document care and resident status in the medical record.
• Supervise nurse aides and medication aides, ensuring procedures and resident rights are upheld.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living when needed.
• Promote a safe, clean, calm, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.

What We're Looking For:
