Job summary

Windcrest Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking an RN Charge Nurse to provide nursing care to residents and supervise staff in a long-term care setting. The role requires applying physician orders and maintaining nursing standards, with attention to patient safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include directing licensed and non-professional staff, coordinating with the care team, and ensuring timely documentation and care planning consistent with regulations.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• CPR certification required; 30 days to complete certification.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out instructions in English.
• Flexibility and positive attitude with interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Lead licensed and non-professional staff to provide direct resident care.
• Implement physicians’ orders accurately and promptly.
• Monitor patient conditions and document vital signs.
