Job summary

• Coordinate daily activities and workload for the unit during shifts.
• Act as a professional educator and resource for new staff (preceptor).
• Balance direct patient care (approx. 80%) with charge/preceptor duties (20%).
• Provide care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Set priorities based on patient acuity and unit needs during 8–12 hour shifts.
