Job summary

UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, CO seeks an experienced Charge RN for Perioperative/PACU care. The role involves direct patient care in perioperative settings, supported by AORN/ABPANC standards and ongoing clinical education.

The position is full-time with dayshift schedule, onsite only. BSN is required within three years of starting, plus RN license and BLS; ACLS and PALS as applicable. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with BSN within three years of assuming the Charge RN position.
• State RN licensure and BLS; relevant certifications as required at position level.
• 1 year of nursing experience.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required as applicable.
• BLS CPR card must be valid through start date and renewals issued by recognized bodies.

Responsibilities

• Direct care includes practice in Perioperative, PACU, or Operating Room levels of care.
• AORN and ABPANC core curriculum and certifications standards are included in care models.
• Clinical Educators support specialty education and orientation for competency validation.
