Job summary

BayCare Health System's Winter Haven Hospital is seeking an RN - Charge Nurse for our Med/Surg Tele unit. This role provides clinical leadership, serves as a preceptor, and supports nursing staff on the shift.

Requirements include an active Registered Nurse license, BLS, a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, and 2 years of acute care experience. Leadership experience is preferred. Schedule: Full-time, Nights, 6:45PM–7:15AM, Shift 3.

• The RN - Charge Nurse is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills. Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team
• Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team. Is responsible for developing self and team members and sharing organizational information
• The Charge Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse
